Oscar is a dog that belongs to a member of the "Sun" family. He lives out on a ranch until the Trekkers come. When he hears the square dance music he comes to one of the campgrounds - adopts a group and stays with them until they leave and then he spends time at the Homestead. Sometimes he chooses one member of a group that is struggling and just stays with them. One day he guarded the door of the woman's bathroom out on the trail - the girls were gettin really upset and asked someone to move him. When they opened the door there was a rattle snake inside - he had been guarding the girls.
This is one of our fun neighbors. Dad worked outside around this rabbit for a long time before it finally moved. They just seem to like to sit and watch and missionaries. We have lots and lots of bunnies.

The spring lilacs are in bloom and they are beautiful. I picked some to put in a vase in our little home and they smell wonderful. Wish we could grow lilacs in Arizona

More of the Pathfinder Dam overflow. The reason it is named Pathfinder is because the reservoir is on the Pathfinder Ranch (which is one huge ranch) and then the river flows down the gorges and canyons into the Alcova Lake. At this point the river is the North Platte.
Pathfinder Dam and Gray Reef - overflow. All the rivers were at their highest from spring run-off so the overflow is opened and makes a spectacular sight. Note the rainbow along the rocks from the water spray.

Little yelldow flowers nestled among the rocks on the prairie in Wyoming.

Elder and Sister Starr at the campground as we get ready to give the Ephraim Hands and Thesbee Reed stories to some of the Trekkers. Note the belt buckle on Elder Starr and the boots on Sister Starr
